Filming for the sixth season of Bulgaria’s most iconic TV series, Undercover, is already underway. Shooting began in June 2025 and is expected to wrap up in early 2026. Scenes will be filmed at various locations across Bulgaria - Sofia, Varna, Borovets, St. St. Constantine and Helena, and many other cities and resorts in the country. This season is anticipated to be the most spectacular and ambitious one so far.
Falconwing Studio is co-producing the series alongside Bulgarian National Television (BNT), where the sixth season of Undercover will premiere. Viewers will reunite with some of their favorite characters – the ruthless crime boss Petar Tudjarov – Djaro, played by Mihail Bilalov; his former right-hand man turned independent figure in the criminal world, Ivo Andonov, portrayed by Zahary Baharov; and Marian Valev’s character, Rosen Gatzov – Kukata.
The season will consist of 12 episodes and will introduce new characters and storylines. Among them are Bulgarian theater and film star Yulian Vergov, Pavel Ivanov, Radina Kardzhilova, Klimentina Furtzova, Velina Georgieva, and many others.
The executive producer of the sixth season is Magardich Halvadzhiyan, creative producer and screenwriter is Dimitar Mitovski, and the director is Viktor Bozhinov. The screenwriters are Vanya Nikolova, Borislav Zahariev, and Slavi Angelov, with cinematographers Georgi Gvozdev, Radoslav Gochev, and Martin Chichov.
