Following its strong success on Bulgarian National Television, the series Mamnik continues its successful international journey with prestigious recognition at three international film festivals.

The series won the Web/TV Series (Pilot) award at the Seven Continents Awards – SCA® Los Angeles/International Awards in the United States, Best TV or Streaming Series at the Alpine International Film Festival in Switzerland, and Best Web Series/Episode at the London Vision Film Festival in the United Kingdom.

In addition to these three awards, Mamnik was also selected as a finalist in the Best Web/TV Series category at the international Cinema Royale: Paris Edition festival, further confirming the strong interest the Bulgarian production has generated among international juries.

Produced by Falconwing Studio, Bulgarian National Television and Global Films, Mamnik tells the story of humanity’s battle against an ancient evil brought to life from legend.

The 12-episode crime mystery is filled with suspense, unexpected twists, and an increasingly complex web of secrets. With each new episode, the mysteries surrounding the village of Vrakola begin to surface, while an ancient evil rooted in Bulgarian folklore gradually reveals its true face. Yet amid the darkness, a beautiful love story also finds its way, bringing light to the shadowed village.

The leading roles of Bozhana, Lazar, Mitko, and Kamen are played by talented young actors Ekaterina Lazarevska, Gringo-Bogdan Grigorov, Marian Stefanov, and Yordan Rasin. The cast also features prominent names from Bulgarian cinema and theatre, including Vladimir Penev, Eli Skorcheva, Atanas Atanasov, Nikola Dodov, Mariana Krumova, and Galya Aleksandrova.

The producers are Magardich Halvadjian and Silvestar Yordanov. Viktor Bozhinov serves as director and creative producer, while the screenplay is written by Vladislav Tinchev and Dimitar Hristov – Kevin. Anton Bakarski is Director of Photography, and the original music is composed by Petar Dundakov.
