Unjustly blamed for a serious aircraft accident at a foreign airline, young Bulgarian civil aviation pilot Alexander returns to Bulgaria stripped of his flying license. Refusing to give up his greatest passion—airplanes—he takes a job as a ramp agent at Varna Airport. Hiding his past, Alexander becomes immersed in the chaotic, often comedic yet dramatic everyday life of the airport’s ground crew, while continuing to fight for the chance to return to the skies. In this new world he discovers that the truth about his past can be more frightening than any verdict—and that the most beautiful flight of all may be the one called love.
